Eski Sokağı
The typeface “Eski Sokağı” is inspired by the oldest street signs of Istanbul, which can only be found in a few places in the city. The aim of the project was to find all letters of the alphabet and to digitize the writing.
The project was developed in the design course of Sadık Karamustafa and Umut Südüak at the Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul. The typeface was presented at 17th Istanbul International Graphic Design Week.
